Rockingham Construction Company has constructed all phases of electrical and utility construction throughout our region. From installing the first 125 miles of transmission and distribution lines in Rockingham County in 1937 to the latest substation in the City of Harrisonburg in 2023 we have evolved as a general contracting company.

Ranging in size from ¾” to 42” diameter piping and length from a single 40’ house service to a subdivision comprising of miles of water distribution including all appurtenances, connections, testing and restoration. We have successfully worked on projects comprising of water storage tanks, pump stations, water distribution systems and much more.

Our experience includes typical concrete pipe culverts sized from 15” to 110” dia. including appurtenances all the way to underground stormwater management systems. We have installed systems using box culverts, Storm Tech chambers, reinforced concrete pipes, precast/poured in place concrete structures, HDPE, CMP, PVC, DIP, and much more.
